I have been fixing up my mini. Finally in a position to give her a makeover. I have a 03 dark silver S. I am getting new rims, and having the roof painted red. At the same time I want to get the jcw wing. I can't seem to find one. Been watching here and the bay for months. Now if I do find one it is only in white and $900 bucks. Anybody have any leads on cheaper alternatives? Has anybody retrofitted a gen 2 jcw wing to work with a gen 1?

 

I myself asked around if you can retro fit a gen2 jcw spoiler to a gen 1 and the response I got was no. Apparently the shape of the hatch is different and if you look at the base of the two spoilers, they are completely different. I wish they would because the gen2 is nicer looking than the gen1.
Maybe someone has figured it out?

Btw, I just ordered one from classic mini. With the NAM discount (20%) it was only $544 + the install kit which you can get from outmotoring for $47.

 

Morristown Mini has the JCW wing and they have reduced the price.

Know anyone who would like '06 jcw gp carbon fiber rear spoiler?

 

What's their price and how many do they have? When I ordered my spoiler they said only 2 were left in the states and that was a week ago. I'm wondering if I was fibbed to...

Wow now for $600i would order one. Unfortunately I just spent my wad on rims and tires. But tires were a necessity.

 

I got mine for $540 from Classic MINI. The install kit was $113 though (Ouch!)
