Ok, so MINI seems content on not releasing production numbers. I had a time with NISSAN releasing NISMO productions (my last car) until recently (now that it is two years post production). In the mean time, we started a Registry to better ID how many of what had been had in the mean time. Please respond to the post and I will add to the list. SEE 2010 JCW REGISTRY, for 10's. I need:

Type (coupe, convert, etc), color, and last 5 digits of VIN (maybe we can delineate a pattern with enough info. If anyone belongs to any other Mini forums out there, please feel free to post a link to this thread.

2009 JCW Clubman - Dark Silver/Silver - Last 5 are 99394

Looking forward to what the numbers come out to. There is a thread somewhere around here about the numbers for 2009 JCW Clubman's, and I think it was just over 100 in the US.

 

Another Clubman here (see sig below) ! Last 5 are 04139 and delivery date was 9/5/09.

2009 Laser Blue/Black Coupe - 96167
Original Owner. Took possession 11-29-08

This is an original JCW non launch car. It was delivered to Prestige MINI in Mahwah, NJ on July 17th, 2008.

As an FYI, a JCW launch car was a car that MINI sent to each dealership to have on the showroom floor or for test drives. They were all sold after a short while. All of them were Chili red with a black top, cloth seats, no sunroof and mildly optioned.

Yes, but that would include 10's and doesn't break down by vehicle type...still don't get Minis unwillingness to release numbers on a production they market as limited to begin with...

 

My guess is I'd follow EWMJR with my VIN as it was a roll over at that point from 99999.

Yes, I don't know how the years split out. Those numbers could be all 2009s or a blend with 2010.

However, production numbers wouldn't tell the true story because you couldn't assume that they were all sold within the calendar year.
