a catless downpipe,a rmw/jan tune and a defenders of speed cold air itake will add 40+ whp .all the hoses and pretty intakes will just cost you money and not add any real gains.

remember friends dont let friends buy alta or m7 .

You can check the drivetrain mods thread to see if there's a local tune party for the RMW tune, or you can sign up for the flash tool tune party to get a flash loader to do it yourself. Will help with dealer visits too. See here:

There is nothing wrong with our intake. Some people like different brands than ours. Some brands claim a 3-5 degree difference in intake temps at the filter, which is fine, but after the turbo heats up the air, and it goes thru the IC, there will be a minimal difference in actual IN intake temp difference. We also use a foam filter which makes great power possible. HERE is a link to the EVO forum where someone did an independant test on just air filters. Our foam filters made more peak power than most of the others!

And some of the haters hate too much and they get the boot from the NAM admins. I miss him a bit but not that much. I am sure he will be back on as a lurker sooner or later. You know who you are...

I'm guessing you're referring to the St*g (is it that frowned upon to discuss him)?

How did you guess . Stig One... JamesHunt... whatever name he comes on here with next. Bottom line is you can be a ****. Just don't be a **** all the time.

One more thought. I actually do miss him. Well just his posts. Why? He stirred the pot and ruffled some feathers at the same time. I love this anonymous internets thing... really I do.

Oh I remember Stig's posts, always sort of liked them too. James Hunt's were fine to me too, except for him promoting products like his Powerhouse DP that aren't even available yet.

Fear not, he'll be back with his cryptic and obnoxious posts in no time!

They were one and the same. I could tell by the short answers and poor punctuation.

WOW... I spend way too much time on here. I need to go out and drive my car or something.

We should see who spots the reincarnation of James First! Telltale key phrase: Hyundai dealership. Of course the one word answers as well.

You know, your post made me think how it's funny how each person leaves a "personality trait" by their answers and comments.

It seems many times you could read a post and know who wrote it just by it's "personality".

I guess that's why it seems like we we do finally get together for a drive, meet or whatever, we feel like we almost know the person.

Okay, that was my intellectual thought for the day....

Mark

PS. Yes, I know I'm known as the good looking, humorous one...

PSS. better translated as funny looking guy....
