JCW Aero Kit for 2009

I just check with a local dealer here on a JCW aero kit for my 2009 Mini...2100.00 and that isnt even painted just primed.

Has anyone found or know of a place to get a better deal on this?

That seems a little steep to me.

morristownmini.com - go to the service parts and accessories tab at the top right......depending on your color they may have the pre-painted as well.

Does anyone know what the average installation cost runs? About how many hours it takes to install the aero kit?

My dealer quoted me 3 hours for the entire install on my R57. That was the front, the two sides and the rear.

3-4 hours is about right for installation. I also agree that you should check with morristown mini.

I bought my JCW aero kit for my '08 and it cost me about 1200'ish dollars.

When I traded in my '08 for an '09 JCW, part of the deal was that I get to keep my JCW aerokit. (which I have since painted and installed on my '09)

So since my '08 kit fits my '09, I'm assuming the kits are the same and should be priced the same.

That's a GREAT price. I paid roughly 1100-1200 bucks for my kit. (bodyshop discount)

I assure you I used more than 300 dollars in paint materials....nevermind labor (and I had to paint them twice, didn't like the colormatch the first time)

Congrats, post pics when you're done.

thats cheap! at crevier?

ive gone to so many stealerships, and each say its an additional 1200 at least on top of the price of the kit itself...

I think pre-ordering it and having it installed at port is much cheaper than going to the stealership afterwards.

bought the car from long beach mini... i negotiated it down...

crevier was willing to give me the same deal... this was about the same time that car sales were slowing and the economy was going in the tank...

also bought the wife a 2009 MB C300 for $4500 off sticker... this was back in oct 2008 when the '09s were just arriving... last month, my buddy just bought a 2006 997 carerra for $42K... in today's world, buyers have ALL the leverage...

Marshall,
Was this the Factory aero kit or the JCW kit? They are different prices.

My dealer quoted $1998 pre-painted plus 4 hrs. labor, less a 10% club discount. I'll also need to spend $375 for re-bra and re-stripe work on front/rear bumpers. I'm looking at about $2500 total.

Does the prepainted kit for $1600 from Morristown Mini include the new break ducts and splitter?

Is Morristown still doing pre-painted aero kits? I have chili red so I would assume I would have the most luck with that color...

I did... the 2nd pic is the before one. Here is the pic of the rear bumper. It all came together as a kit...front, skirts, and rear. The only thing different i didnt do is use the blackout grill trim. I liked the chrome look so i kept the trim piece that came with the car and sold the black piece that came with the kit.

I'm also planning to keep the chrome trim on my CR/W JCW when I do the Aero kit.

Has anyone who ordered the prepainted kit installed it themselves? How hard was the install?
