JCW Stage 1 - New Badges?

Just curious... I've heard there have been revisions to the Stage 1 kit for post-July 2008 builds. I was wondering if this change (or any other) has brought along the use of the "newer" JCW badges with the kit (i.e. like the factory JCW cars)?

Anyone?

I just got the JCW CF/Alcantara shifter & was able to order it with the new logo (to go with my factory JCW). The parts guy thinks I got the first one on the country because all the ones that are here were in Germany last week.

You know you should have just broken down and bought the JCW in the first place

I actually prefer the old logo, though I may be a little biased.

Seriously, though... I don't think they improved it, though perhaps it is a bit more legible.

I disagree the way the john cooper cuts off the top of the works is terrible looks like it was done by an amateur.

Personally I think only the factory JCW’s should get the new badges

I like the new logo much better. It's a cleaner, more elegant, and more modern design. And since my car has it I don't want anything on it with the old logo. As it is the dealer included the JCW mats with the old logo, but they aren't that visible. My shifter with the new logo looks great.

'WORKS' is too small on the new logo (IMO), and I prefer the lower case letters in John Cooper's name. I also much prefer the arc John Cooper's name follows in the old version. The old logo is more artistic, whereas the new logo is more simplified (what they were aiming for). They are close enough that I wouldn't care too much if I had ordered a factory JCW (I likely will in two years, unless the 2 seater becomes a reality ), but I wish they had kept the logo the same, or made a significant change for the better.
