Has anyone here had the JCW installed...Would you do it again after you know what it's like ?..Also how long after you ordered it did it arrive..Anyone know what the time from ordering is to when you get it ?..My dealer says there is NO way to find out but I'm surprised...........We send men to the moon but no one knows when the JCW package will be delivered !!.....That said I called Mini yesterday and asked if the 2004's have still the stumble ?....Well of course the girl answered What Stumble ? and quickly put me on hold as I said ask some of your colleagues there...WELL OFFICIAL STUMBLE NEWS STRAIGHT FROM MINI ....." Some will have it and some will not !!!....I asked for one of the won't have its BUT there again if I ask for it I may not get it !!.......Well this is exciting..It's like being in vegas !!...She loves me, she loves me not, She loves me she loves me not, She loves me she loves me not....OH NO !!...She loves me not !!.....Off to the stumble board..Bye !!...Now which stumble board ?...e ne me ni my ni mo.............................

Just a guess but I think about 20 MCO members or more have reported positive things about their JCW kit upgrades over the past 4 months. Some waited a long time like 4 to 6 months while others only a few months. All depends on how many kits the dealers get and how many MCS owners are serious enough to plunk down the $6000.
For info on this search for "JCW kit"

I ordered my mini s june 1st and got it aug 16th (mini of nashville), they had just got a JCW kit in stock (this dealers third one), i took it and had it installed last week. I would do in again in a second. No hint of a stumble with it, I could see what people were talking about before, but the car is even more a blast to drive now. I don't plan on doing anything else to it but drive it. I've had 30+ cars and motorcycles in my 40 years, but never had something so much fun and not to mention it's got windows and AC unlike the bikes and some of the jeeps I drove year round.

Howdy! I'm JCW install #1 at MINI of Nashville.... didn't know they had done any others....

Who did the install, Jean Marc did mine but they've told me he's since left the dealership.... not sure who their new MINI tech is.

I LOVE mine.... only other performance mods have been a BMP cold air intake, everything else has been aesthetic mods.

We need to start a Nashville club or something.... maybe via the Nashville British Car Club.

Jeff did mine at New Country Motors in Hartford. Mine was the third install for New Country and it definately feels like its breathing deeper and easier if you know what I mean.
