JCW owners - how does your car breathe?

This is not necessarily an intake question, but does anybody besides me feel your car can't breathe? as the RPM goes up and the car picks up speed, I feel like it can't breathe.. like i need to rip out the intake and disconnect the exhaust from the turbo for it to be able to let out the fury!

I bought this car with JCW stage I kit already installed, so I can't compare it to the stock car but I can compare to other cars I've owned including an R53 MCS (modded), BMW M Coupe, RAM SRT-10, and even my daily driver Chrysler 300c.

I think for a "modded" car (JCW) it really can't breathe or exhale! I'm tempted to go for a down-pipe and huge intake but I'm worried about the warranty and the sound.

Just sharing

Get a proper replacement filter for the intake. Should be a good, low-cost solution to the breathing problems.

Need more!, get the factory works inlet tube, need even more!, get the Alta boost tube kit. If you need more then get rid of one of the 2 cats

Thanks for the suggestions. Alta Turbo inlet tube is on its way (w/ M7 Coils). Boost tube kit might be next, along with an intake. Get rid of the cats or get the Alta turbo-back downpipe??

Thank you again for your order! We do appreciate it!

In your country you might want to order the ALTA 3" Cat-Back and have someone locally remove the other cat or cats. This assumes that is legal in Bahrain to do so. But that would be the ideal from a performance stand point. But I would also say that the use of good flowing catalysts will only pull back a few ponies, vs catless.

Thanks again! Let me know if I can ever help further!

I've been considering dumping the cats and keeping the JCW exhaust, but I'm worried about the noise.. I'm too old to be arriving to work in a buzzing bee.. but then again, its not my daily driver..

Thanks for the advice..
