Upgrading to Stainless Steel Dead Pedal for MC

I'm getting the stainless steel dead pedal to replace the standard black one that come on the MC, and I was wondering if anyone else has done this? I'm not really sure how this needs to be installed, so I wanted to find out some info while I'm waiting for it to come in the mail! Any help would be appreciated!

It is just a press-fit. Pry out the old one (gently!) and press the new one in place. So easy even I could do it!

Thanks for the response. Well that's good that it is easy then! Do you know if I have to pry off the oval piece then somehow unscrew the entire foot rest, or is the replacement piece just for the oval area and not the entire thing?

I got the 4 peices from the dealer and replaced all my pedal peices. It clips into place.

Oh poo, so the dead pedal also comes in that package?! I wish I had known that before! I don't want to have wasted the money on the separate one... grrr... I'm not sure if I'm going to do all of them because the gas pedal is apparently pretty complicated to do... Maybe further down the road then.

Are you sure?! I read somewhere that the gas pedal has to be taken apart to put it in and many were getting the dealer to do that one pedal... Also, can you confirm if the dead pedal does or does not come in that package or if it is just the clutch, brake and gas pedals.

No, it was a simple remove and replace on my 04. The kit comes with instructions on how to do it. it did not take very long to do all four pedals. Also nice MC...
