No matter how far away I park and walk, out of nowhere a major door ding appeared. So off to the ding doctor and I must say these folks are magicians. In less than 45 minutes it was gone--totally. Though a little lighter in my wallet, I was taruly amazed and pleased. My hat is off to Auto Images in Wichita. They took me as a walk in and did wonders.

 

Same thing happened to me! Did you get "paintless dent removal"? Maybe the MINI is built for this method, because my door ding just disappeared, as did a fender ding behind the front wheel. $70 also disappeared from my wallet, but really, I didn't notice it like I noticed the dents in the door.

 

My coworker laughed at me the other day because I said, "No door dings allowed. The first sign of one and it's PDR time for my beloved MINI, Bergey".
Obsessed ? Damn right, and proud of it.

Yes, that PDR is magic. I had a '98 Nissan 240SX that had 32 hail damage dents in it and by the time the PDR guy got done with it (less than 3 hours of work), you'd never have known it was ever in a rain shower.

hi this is the best solution to door ding ..i have drop and water botle and it ding my mini so today i went to the pdr guy and yes it MAGIC no more ding..

 

i need to find one of these ppl....ive put off fixing a few dings because i figured it would be $500.

 

I'm so OCD I have a PDR guy on speed dial on my cell phone. Not that I get that many dings, but when they do happen I schedule him to fix it that week. Keeps me sane I guess... hahhaha

 

is there a nationwide chain that does this stuff? i'm having trouble figuring how where/who to look for

 

Ho forgot to tell u guy that a was 80$ for the ding not chep but it a mind thing no more ding make me very happy my mini is and 2004 and it ding free..

Call some local body shops that you prefer and ask them if they have PDR. Most shops that do PDR work contract that out and their PDR guy rotates around to different shops as an independent contractor.
