I tried to buy a euro shelf a couple of weeks ago from Out Motoring and they said they can't get them anymore. Anyone know where I can buy one?

I dont know of any other place that you can find one. The only thing that I can think of is the NAM marketplace. But, they'll probably charge over the retail price.

Everyone says they're out at Moss Mini -- I ordered evening of the day the discontinuation was announced, and they were already all gone by then. Only place I know of that can still get them is Coopersport -- and they're charging ~$145, plus they're backordered (but claim to be getting more in, unlike everyone else).

 

Have they only been discontinued in the US? Are they still available in Europe?

It appears that Moss' computer will continue to accept orders, and you may even get the order confirmation e-mail, but I think Moss sold their last parcel shelf several days ago. I ordered two back on the 11th, and I think they were already sold out by the time I ordered mine, so I wouldn't hold your breath for an order placed today.

Just a suggestion but have you tried ebay?

 

We can still get them at Coopersport.com but we are forced to charge what MINI Canada is charging as that is the only supplier source at this time. This is somewhat worse news now as MINI Canada must have caught on to the 'supply and demand' issue and raised the price again on Thursday night. The new Canadian retail price is just under $185 CDN per shelf. This means that the US price we have to charge is about $165 USD.

Please don't think this is us trying to make a quick buck. These are hardly worth the effort for us but we know many of you are trying really hard to get your hands on one of these before they're extinct and we're simply trying to help out.

We have sold out of our current stock which is why they are not available for sale on the website at Coopersport.com right now. We have another 5 coming in this week that I will take preorders for. If you would like one please PM me and I will pass on details about how to place your order.

Got mine from Way at WayMotorWorks a few weeks ago. He is currently in England for the UK Mini Challenge, but his assistant may know whether or not they have any in stock.

 

Ordered one from Moss Motors yesterday and got a confirmation today that my order has been shipped. I guess I'll wait and see.

 

Hmm - makes me wonder what happened to mine that I ordered on the 11th. Maybe I need to call them.

 

I placed my order last week with moss. My card was charged today and the product shipped. Hope everything works out for everyone else.

 

I too ordered one from Moss last night...got a UPS tracking number today...so unless they charged my card and put peanuts in a box, I am getting the elusive shelf, which makes me very lucky since I passed this up over a week ago like a fool.

This morning the ups tracking number works and it has an arrival date of the 19th. I'll keep you posted on weather it comes or is full of peanuts.

I think what happened with my order from the 11th was that Moss was temporarily out of them, and since I had marked my order "no backorders", my order was essentially thrown out, even though I got the order confirmation.

I suppose Moss found a few more, which is why people that ordered after me are already receiving their shipping numbers, or have already received their shelves.

I put in another order early this morning, and authorized backorders, so I'll see what happens.

Just spoke with the good folks at Moss mini. They have 26 shelves in stock! However, once they are gone, that's it no more and they cannot get anymore.

Mine from Moss is on the way via UPS. Moss told me they make them and they will continue to make them until they don't sell anymore. AND they are MUCH less expensive as COOPER sells them for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
