There is a SWEET white MINI in the Italian Job with Black Stripes and it's Kick ***!

 

I just had these put on this morning.
I stripped all the polish off prior to getting them installed. As soon as I get another sunny day, I'll polish it up and take some good pics. Here's a quick & dirty one for now tho.

Hot damn those are some nice stripes. I have a PW/B and will be doing the racing stripe like acetonic but in black. Should look cool.

The red on the PW is something I never thought of. You definitly need a PW/PW to pull that off though. Looks good, and is unique.

 

The red looks great on the PW. The black will look awesome as well. I'm about to build a 1/10 scale RC MINI and I've thought of painting it white with red stripes.

I saw a Yellow Mini with a Red Interior and wondered if anyone has put red stripes on a yellow Mini or maybe even Yellow Stripes on a Red Mini.
I put the red ones on 'cause:
1) Cooper Flags would provide me any color(s) I wanted
2) I got tired of seeing the same white/silver/black offered
3) Being different is good.

 

Acetonic, love those stripes! I often think of doing stripes on my IB/W...it'd have to be something like yours. I like how you cut around the MINI logo and backup light. Did you do it yourself? Any details you may have would be helpful bacause...I'm getting inspired....!!!! :smile:

 

jds, I thought about doing them myself, until i saw how complex the job would be. I had them professionally installed at a custom shop that I have dealt with numerous times in the past. The installer said it was one of the more difficult installations he has done due to all the cutting and curves. I'm not saying someone can't do it themselves, just that I'm really glad I didn't attempt it!

I'm think 'bout changing my stripes. I really like the look of some other stripes and would like to do either black viper stripes or one's like yours (acetonic) in black down the boot. I really like the way that looks, especially when the stripes come down the grill like this.

 

I know it's not real... but this is an idea I'm considering for my JB/JB MCS when it arrives:



Stripes are Pure Silver. What do you think?

Thanks TwOMINIs. I used the german configurator to create .jpg pics of both the JB MCS and a PS MCS. Then I used MS Paint to carefully weave the two together. Takes a lot of time and patience cutting and pasting, but I'm not photoshop equipped nor literate, so I use what I have.

Also considering painting the whole roof silver with or without the silver bonnet/boot stripe. I love the two-tone MINIs but the JB/W was just too cop-car for me; so I'm looking for creative alternatives.

You are right that there should be many more stripped MINIs posting here. Being that this thread can only help their sales, you'd also think cooperflags would be here everyday posting pics of their and their customer's finished products.
