I have finished my interior updates. I have a 2006 MCS HB/B with Blue Lapis Leather and HB interior.


I have replaced the following:
Redline Goods shift boots, black leather with a blue stripe and blue stitching.
Newministuff leather down tubes with blue stitching.
Minifini cup holder
Hyper Blue shift ****
Hyper Blue e-brake handle

I'm curious how they feel comparing to the hard plastic ones, which always give me sore knees after autoX, do they cushion much better? was thinking about getting a knee pad http://www.myminiparts.com/proddetai...rod=DKP&cat=10

It is all in the details. The Blue looks GREATTTT!!!

 

The leather downtubes are are just plastic wrapped in leather. They are soft to the touch, but they are not padded.

I just like the look of them. I have now gotten rid of all the cheap silver plastic pieces (except on the doors). With the full leather interior they look perfect. Now I have the blue going across the dash, then a stripe of black, then the blue carpet. Everything in my car is now blue and black.
