Intake air vents grill removal

The mesh under the intake grills - outside between the bonnet and windshield - are broken and I want to replace them. How do I remove the grills?

Open the bonnet. Then just push the grill from below. They simply pop out

There are very easy to remove.

As msdbrain said, open the bonnet and push them from underneath.

I'm guessing you have the old style vents with the foam, your dealer should replace these for free with the updated all plastic style.

I got my old ones replaced by the dealer about 3 months after I got my car...

The new model is better, but the old one was looking nicer.

I replaced mine with black screen from Home Depot. Much more durable and looks better too.

I had my dealer upgrade mine, but now I wish I had asked for the original parts so I could have either removed the torn foam or done something creative with them. The old ones do look better, but it is subtle and I'm happy I have good ones on there now.

Anyone have a pic of the new ones? Just curious to see what they look like.

Thank you guys.
I tried the pushing from the inside out, but wasn't sure if that was the right way, and didn't want to break them. I'll try harder tonight. Definitely like the original ones (black) better than the new ones (silver/chrome/aluminum???).
