IN-headrest DVD system 8 final pictures (Its up and Running!)

Here are some final pics of my LCD install. There is just one problem. There is no sound. You can hear fine if you put headphones on, but to through the speakers in the LCDs. Does anyone know why it might not be working? I dont have a good place to put the DVD player, so if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

EDIT: ARGH!!! I still cant get the built in speakers to work! Any ideas!?!?!

(I've tried 2 different DVD players.)

I am far from an auto electronics guru, but it looks like you are using an AC powered home DVD player with an inverter stashed in the box in the side of the boot. You'd be a lot better off with a small DC powered unit. There has to be something similar in size to a portable cd player that would work well and be easy to stash that wouldn't require the extra wiring and power source.

Looks great and definitely a big accomplishment!

Thanks for the info. I need a smaller DVD player, so when I get one, it'll be DC. I just didnt have one.
