Penelope is all dressed up!

I've had my Penelope for 10 days now, and have been accessorizing!
Here's a before:

And here are a couple of afters:

We did the aero grille (took about 3 hours), MINI sports stripes, grille badge holder (with our own badge) and a custom sunroof cover from Cooper Flags. We're adding a royal blue pinstripe as we speak.

I'm so proud!! She looks all grown up and ready to go to the prom . . . or maybe a peace rally

It was. Just took me awhile to get all the stuff I wanted. I've never had a car that begged to be decorated!!

Hmm.. how odd is it that I was planning on naming my PW MCS penelope when I pick her up two weeks from now. I wouldnt want to steal your penelope's spotlight... she looks very nice!

back to the drawing board!!

Hey, they can be twin sisters with the same name!! Maybe someday they'll meet up in the Rocky Mountains (I'm in Utah).

I think the aero grill looks super and ties in so well w/ the look of the lower grill. I've typically been a fan of the exterior chrome kit, but in this application, no...you've nailed it perfectly!! The stripes, too, just pull everything together so nicely. As for the peace sign....perfect you-ification for a great looking MINI!

Outstanding transformation ooksvery sweet indeed! I love the black out grill. The badge looks really cool over the stripes.

Excellent job.
Love the roof graphic, stripe and grilles.

Shows how much difference customizing makes compared to stock.

Also shows how very boring it is to have a stock car-

Imagine a new camry modded like that-
the racing stripe alone would look out of place let alone the roof graphic.

Yet the MINI looks right at home modded up.

USA - where have you been??? How is your car?? Where are the pics??

MINIHUNE - the analogy about the Camry cracked me up. It's so true - when I see other cars that have been 'personalized' I usually think "ugh, lame", but with MINIs it's entirely different. Oh how lucky we are to have such a fun toy! Although a friend of mine said I was treating her like a giant Barbie

nicely done

like potato chips - you can't eat just one.

Go check out www.myminiparts.com - Peter has a bunch of "attire" goodies for the inside.

Hi Miniprof.

Penelope looks smashing! That aero grill looks great against the PW and the black sport stripes. Nice combo. I'm still deciding on my grill. Chrome or Aero. I have Dark Silver with black roof.

Oooooh Swizzle, I vote aero grill!!! I've seen pics of the DS/B with the aero and it looks FABulous. After seeing miniprof's grill I know I'll be sitting on Santa's lap this year making my argument for the aero grill!
