Whats up nam..!

I've been looking at pictures of GP with it's crazy red side mirror caps..
and I actually liked how it contrasted..

so I figured

why not try some different colors with the cap..
even the movie italian job featured black mirror caps with white roof..

MM..
I have Chili Red with Black Top...

Any Ideas??

 

based on what you said, I'd suggest white for the contrast with the roof, or you could give the checkered caps a try. Try playing around with it on MINIUSA.com and see if there is a combo you preffer.

be creative and make it your own.. you wont regret it. however.. im on the same track you are, and thought that i would take a short cut. i found chrome caps and thought, eh.. why not. NO. they suck. it makes me sick thinking about it. spend the extra cash and do it right. im an idiot!

 

Colored mirror caps are common on race cars where 2 or more cars look very similar, the contrasting morror caps help distinguish the drivers.
Look at FI they are 2 car teams and often the mirror caps are the only quick way to tell the difference.
RED usually identifies the #1 driver in a team.

I have the checkers and they are cool (to me).
but as soon as you see another they have less impact.

I vote go for RED or crazy yellow or lime green or

Post a photo of your ride and the "photo shop team" will soon overwhelm you.

I thought about the chromes too..!!! Well I dislike them so I was like blah..



I love the turn signal caps.. only if they were already painted....



I'm thinking about some HOT orange, or Dark silver or maybe yellow, some crazy colors.. I will post pics sometime soon so the P T will overwhelm this post...!!!

I bought the Chrome caps. I don't have a real good picture of them though... A guy in my car club has a Yellow MCS with a Red scoop. looks real neat.

Red? I don't think so. The only red on the car is the Nebraska alum license surround and sticker, and the NAM sticker. 1 mirror? Besides, I'm going to have a bunch of yellow paint left over with doing 2 mirror caps, why would I want that much extra yellow paint PLUS the same amount again in red?

 

what are mirror caps from the dealer going for these days?
