New JCW CF Rear wing plus Aerokit

So here it is! I just got my car back this morning after a full week and a half out of my site (with a nice loaner may I say: an X3).
The guys from Morristown Mini in New Jersey were great. I live in Manhattan but their service, humble atitude and may I say GREAT PRICES blow away any bad experiences I've had with dealers in the past.
So I went ahead and got my Aero kit installed thanks to the offer that was going on through Gabe's site (motoringfile.com).
My price altogether with the aero kit, painted jet black and the new JCW CF rear wing totaled 2100 bucks installed plus a loaner. I have to add here that I did take very good care of the loaner because the car had barely 100 miles on it but I did enjoy the ride. Nevertheless I see myself buying a 325 down the road when a kid comes around (keep in mind my fiance and I are short 5'5" and the x3 still felt like a huge car for us). Needless to say I will buy the car from the Morristown crew.
Anyways back to the MINI:
Today we decided to let the guys at the office leave early since it was a "holiday" (actually I just wanted to take pics of the car around the city, so we let everyone go)

Here it is:
To be honest I still feel a little odd seeing our MCS with all these extra bling. I am not used to the rear wing yet, I surely hope it doesn't look ricey since I really don't like that. There's certain angles that it surely looks like that, but for the most part it looks great. In my honest opinion, I think this wing tends to look better on dark cars because it blends much nicer.
**Also I got the OEM wing holes patched and painted because there was no way that I would install those cheesy extra tabs**
So enjoy the pics guys! This is how it looks WITHOUT the two side little fins that are supposed to be installed in the holes left by the OEM MCS wing.
PS: I still have the new M7 scoop in the apt. I will try it on this weekend.
PS2: I also feel that the ride during the summer might look great with the Hamman 18's I bought a while ago. (I will use them only in the summer)
Enjoy the pics!!

Are those California plates? I live on Long Island and I hate that NY needs to have license plates on the front.

I'll be honest here: This car sleeps indoors so it doesn't get much of the NYC "love". I wax it old school with a product I can't remember the name right now (I'll get back to you on that), plus I haven't the waxed ride for at least 2months since its too cold and I barely have time for it this days.
Thanks for all the props!...Honestly I feel much better after having a nice CRIT by the NAM community!

I am not sure. The price was as a whole package. ( I have to say I am pretty happy about that, but I believe they are selling the wing with a 10% discount and install is somethig like an extra 150...I guess in my case since I didn't install the little wings that cover the OEM holes might cost more)

Fixed it for you.

Looks a lot better than I had imagined it would from the JCW pics. Also, good move on getting the hatch plugged and painted.

Is this wing the "legal wing?" and the other JCW wing for Mini Challenge NOT "legal" ?

Oh yeah of course! This was just the way I went about it. Contact those guys and they probably will give you a nice price for the aero kit.

You beat me to it. I have the wing and aerokit but no car yet. My (second) S is coming in next week. Looks fantastic! I'm stoked.
