Is it difficult to take apart the stock tail light for painting? Just curious, b/c I think it would look really good if just the chrome trim surround inside the tail lights were painted to match the body color.

A mod like this just sets your Mini apart from all th others because it is so unique. Mighty, let me know if you are going to do it, I am interested to hear about a price quote.

Not Function???? That is silly. IF you paint IN the reflector.... then you've ruined it.
Paint the chrome casing.... you're in business.

Go stare into your headlamps while they are on..... take note as to what the "reflector" is.
Also, there is ONE empty Socket....the small outer one....

I'm considering plugging in either a strobe or a body colored bulb. What do ya think?

Also, I must mention.... the Black MINI, most acurately represents a correct socket Placement... please note, that the main MINI headlamp on the top is like a half socket... like seen on the black cooper. The Smaller Round representations are more artistic.

Enjoy
