They are selling for $290. Just thought I would let you guys know. A little pricy I think. Rather get an intake for that price.

Altezza taillights...think about it, you can have Japanese-look MINI for $280...No thanks, I'll stick with the clear european looking ones for the same money.

they'll work just fine for the Rice-MINI crowd, I'm sure they're lurking out there!

$0.02
Cheers

Your negativity hinders others personal choices.

Negativity? I think the guy has a right to not like the ricer look, after all you've proudly displayed your right to not like SUV drivers.
You know the saying. Opinions...Everyone has one...

My Tag is Sarcastic...Much less important is, I have not stated I dislike SUV drivers. "Some of my best friends are SUV drivers"

More or less, negatively proclaiming one's dislike is non productive. If I said I disliked the tail lights... that is expressing my distate for them... without forcing an "implied" image (ricer-look) upon those who may be considering this Mod.

I have seen these lenses on Audi's and VW's... I would not be surprised to see them on a BMW, and am not surprised to see them being made for the MINI...
I've even seen them on the PT Cruiser...

A new Mod Option is great for everyone, like or not. It opens the doorway for more individualization...

Please do not consider my comments as me being negative towards you in particular.... I have seen (and I might even be guilty of) several negative posts. The negativity is (here I go again) unproductive. We are all in this sort of, MCO Fraternity, and I admire everyone who has or is considering purchasing a mini... But moreso admire those who dare to be differant.

My Apologies

I think the Altezza's are great! Maybe not for everyone but at the same time, a great addition to the aftermarket catalog!

I'd rather get the tinted tail light, especially if the altezzas are that expensive. I do like them though

In any situation I want your honest opinion.

I'm thick skinned and I can take it; besides the first thing you should do when criticized is ask yourself if the criticism is just.

For one, I'm not so insecure as to be hurt, offended, taken back or anything else that "you" might say about me or in this case some tail lights.

I demand honesty (both ways) because it makes me think about my own opinion. It's why I listen to Mr. Limbaugh and Mr. Donahue. (well, no more Mr. Donahue)

I dig the Vmaxx lights, they're original looking, smooth, and much less "trendy for the sake of being trendy" like the altezza-style lights.

I doubt I'd buy them, I feel the OEM taillamps embody MINI-ness top-notch!

Cheers,
Ryan
