you can get them from any mini dealer. they are like 25 for the pair i believe. thats what i did on my S

Center Badge, and wiper gone as well. Shocked me at first... But now I think I like it. Nice work!

 

JCW badge never went on. By the looks of it, the Cooper and S badges have to come off. I find the rear wiper too useful though. Hatchback glass attracts the muck in the rain.

if your talking about my rear end you issed out on the shorter number plate recess aswell had the whole tailgate and handle re worked

After reading all of the post about de badging I headed out to the garage and took the plunge. I'm very happy with the look and wonder why I waited so long. I've always been a fan of the look. To me it looks really nice with my custom lagston ruby red tail lights. What do you guy's think ?

I kept the S, though it's now black...

 

It looks cleaner whitout it.

 

I thought about leaving the S but after stepping back and looking, I felt it should all go. I think that on PW it might stick out too much although it looks good on your car JJ.

 

Looks great, and nice tail lights! Much better than the clear ones, IMO.

Seeing all these pics will soon have me removing mine, although I may just leave the S on it...

I left the red S on mine BUT (because I like symmetry), I moved it below the license plate, and in line with the MINI badge. I'll get pics at some point.

Pauliekeys.....do you theoretically have no more white reverse light? Or is it bright enough to still shine white through the red tint?

 

By "naked look" do you mean your stripes ?

 

The light shows up red because the whole lens has been coverd in vinyl.

yup i mean the stripes.
in the future i may end up taking them off and maybe gettin different stripes. but until then i'll keep my stripes as is.

 

I like your stripes ! There is a set of stripes that I've seen on a PW that I really like that are checker board black on the hood and tail and white on the top in a kind of wave pattern. I would do it but, I like the simple statement of just White and black which is also why I did the debadge today. I did change my mirror caps to pepper white a couple of month ago which I think made a nice change from all the other PW out there (5 in my Mini group). Here's a shot of Boo as he sits today with the Lagston headlight rings and White mirror caps riding on my Rota 16's(normally run 18's) that I put on for a run in the twisty for this weekend with my buds. I'm really digin how Boo's coming along.

 

fishing line works better, floss breaks

 

double or triple up the floss and it's strong enough so it wont break. plus i found it easier to get under the letters becuase it's so fine.
