I hate the chrome on my MC and am in the works of blacking it out (Already got the reflectors on the side panels and the chrome strip around the car blacked). I love the debadged look but one thing has me worried, how do you remove the gunk under the badge without killing the paint? (Sorry for the hijack)

there's no gunk, it's double stick tape. peels right off without harming the paint.
When you remove the mini badges the holes in front and back need filling and its a paint job. On the front removal the XPEL bra pattern has a special order that handles a deleted badge, so I managed to get that too.

Back without badge:
The back is a bit too plain now. I'll be adding back my rear stripes when the paint's cured just had rear painted. Also custom inserts in the aero bumper - once I figured what exactly.
I only got to the "P".
My latest picture of the boot.
You can see the "S" on the supercharger cover. I used a Dremel with a course sanding drum to make the "S" the same thickness throughout, used it lightly on the s/c cover to give it teeth for th JB Weld to glue on the "S".
I'm considering on taking the "Cooper S" badge off the back. After seeing your guys' MINIs without them, it makes the MINI look more refined. Besides, anyone will know what model you have anyway just by looking at the position of the exhaust.
Just like every car I have ever had, I removed the badges from the back (except for the winged MINI badge) and epoxied the red S to my intercooler surround under the hood... Dresses up the plastic nicely!
