Anyone have a good source for the complete Mini Cooper S surface math data?
I have been looking forever so that i could test out the front lip i have designed in a virtual test in conjuction with Will. We both looked all over, and the only ones we could find costed $$$$$ but looked absolutely perfect.

Unfortunately, "Looks perfect" maybe good enough for CFD but not for manufacturing. For me to design a part to be mated to OEM surfaces, the base data must be absolutely accurate (preferably class A)...ie, precisely scanned or actual OEM math data. Do they mention how the data was obtained?

Most of them are models in conjunction with 3DSMax, etc. Some looked ok, some looked veyr much off, hit or miss. Might be time to contact MINIUSA. heh
Sid, i figure this looks nothing like yours....but check it out
Interesting Vortex generators...we (while at Ford) did vortex testing back in 90's and found them effective but only in specific areas and density. Specifically, at the rear header where air would delaminate and cause drag. In Mini's case, there is no rear header and the best way to minimize drag is to create a sharp dissruption of airflow at the trailing edge at the rear. I'm afraid this won't very functional in this particular execution... Who sells this?

It's made by garbino. I had assumed it was exactly what you said, an un-functional EVO look spoiler. Just thought it was a nice bump for this thread
