Any chance you could put a hole in it so the brake light shines through above or would that ruin the aerodynamics? Its one of the details on the OEM wing I don't like - if you are in a vehicle higher then the Mini the wing actually can block the view of the brake light.

Shouldn't your rear lights also light up when you brake?

Yep, and they do, but the third brake light is often what gets people's attention (esp as people are so distracted most of the time). If they are high up in a truck I wanna be sure to get their attention that the brakes are on...

Look at this link; http://www.comagination.com/bflasher.htm
MSFITOY and The Works have them. It's a real attention getter.

I drive trucks often and the CHMSL on the Mini is clearly visible...guess Mini knows what they're doing

We were in a van following the Mini once, in a rental truck another time, and when closer the center brake was largely obscured by the spoiler - enough to make it not as effective at all. (Also, as this wing looks wider it even make more of a difference.)

Anyway, I was just inquiring as I think it could use improvement. I've thought about the flasher thing but a) I don't know if it would help considering that, b) the whole warranty thing (Mini would notice it for sure and they are such a pain). Thanks for the suggestion though.

I can't beleive it.... I saw the car three to four times sitting there in Fontana. Thursday i was in a hurry to get some sleep, JS gave me a compliment on what a nice color my MCS was . We chatted for a minute and i told him i'd be back to take a real close look at the wing.

Then Friday after the Parade and a few Dragon runs in, but then my clutch problems started.... So i spent my time back at Fontana trying to get help with that. Of course the car was still sitting there, then it started to rain, so i was stuck right accross the street from the car but i didn't have my camera. Saturday comes along and all i could do was try to limp it to South Carolina to family.

So i saw it in person and its sweet.... But i couldn't get one damn pic. Hopefully someone did.

I want one without the wicker bill for damn sure.

On my Mini? Mine has a CF factory Aero Wing. Joel (pepper white with black wheels) had the prototype Aero Wing 2...

Sorry to hear. Hope you made it back OK. Thanks for the compliment. Let's be sure and talk next year. I got to check your car out better.

Thanx. Yes, Century MINI took care of me and i made it back Monday night.

So where do we go from here on the wing? Any more details? Possible production? Pricing? I really liked it and wondering if i can fit it in the budget.

Good to hear all is well.
I'm finishing up some of the last minute details now. ( when I'm not at my day job ) Sorry, I don't have any idea on pricing. I need to finish it up before getting prices from frabricators.
As to the wickerbill - it will be detachable so one can run with or without it on.
