What in the world does this button do!

Theres a button located on my driver side dash. It looks to be the ICON of a foglight, with a #2 on it.

It doesn't turn on the aftermarket foglights. And I've turned it on/off while a friend walked around the car, can't find what it does! It's possible that a fuse is out, and I'm going to check that as soon as I find out from you nice people what it is!

I also cannot find it mentioned at all in my manual.

It controls the special aftermarket bazooka mod! J/K! You don't have the OEM rally lights? I believe that would be their switch.

So the rally lights won't work without highbeams on? hmm

Those lights, right by the bonnet stripes?

Haha, yeah luckily I did make sure to remove the covers :P I'm still learning everything but I did figure that out! Good one though

So, (with covers off :P) and high beams on, that switch will turn those on?

Technically, that's not true. They will work with the covers on. They won't throw any light on the road till they melt the covers though.

according to my dealer, the state of maryland does not permit rally lights to be on unless the high beams are also on. What an annoying law...

those arent rally lights, they are driving lights.

just make sure the cop knows that when he pulls you over tho.

Thats true in most states, not just MD.

Why is that an annoying law? What do you think the purpose is of auxiliary driving lights?

BTW, Rally lights is kind of a misnomer, they are really auxiliary driving lights.
