Sparco Milano Prestige leather group buy?

I am not ready to part with that much cash quite yet but I will be. The price for these jewels is about $1600 per seat. I wonder if we got a group buy together if we could negotiate a decent discount?

You can get one for less than that. I paid around $1300 including MINI base and runners.

if you do indeed find a vendor who can let them go for about 800 US each with hardware then i'd be in....

sorry, university student on a minimum wage job=no money for the premium seat!

I see about $1300 as the best deal. Aside from the $2600 my dog "katie" rides with me and I think she would leave marks and then I would get pissed. I may but I still have some thinking to do.

If the purchase is Sparco brand only, please advise.

Did your installation use the tabbed or flat Sparco MINI base application?

Possible Group Guy Details

I can get them for $2,960 for a pair of Sparco Milano Prestige in red, black or tan leather if I can get 4 additional people besides me, shipped to the lower 48 states.

It includes ALL necessary hardware.
2 x Sparco Milano Prestige (brand new, straight from the factory) $1250 each
2 x Sparco mouting bracket part # 002058F and 002059F $90 each
2 x Sparco universal hardware kit part # 50001 Free
2 x Sparco sliders Part # 00493 $49 each
2 x Sparco tab kit (for height adjustment) Part # 00500 $52 each

Parts total = $2882 = $1441 per seat with all necessary hardware.

Initially quoted $89 shipping for both seats + $20 hardware.
$2882 + $119 = $3001.
Group deal would be $2882 + $78 = $2960 for credit card payers.

That's $1480 per seat if we get 5 people total including me.

I don't work with this vendor, spoke to him for the first time today, just want to see if I can gather any interest. I think he's got the lowest price I've seen so far and I've been looking. If someone can show me another vendor who can do better, I'll jump in on that deal.

Vendor claims to be an authorized Sparco dealer. Ebay feedback is pretty good, 95.8%, 368 score, 385 positive, 17 negative. ID "mvautoparts".

Here's the link to just the seats on ebay. I spoke to Tushar on the phone today, number is listed on the ebay auction.

Please respond by the end of September for this package deal if you are interested and ask any questions.

Thanks.

I haven't looked yet but from what I've read there are plenty of threads on this site about using a resistor to fool the airbag light.

Anybody ever deal with www.maximvelocity.com?

Not bad. One should be able to get 10% or slightly more off Sparco's list from an authorized vendor online fairly easily if you shop/ call around. Here's another vendor to check out that is very helpful: www.motorsportseats.com, ask for Jim (classic Mini owner).

Prestige has the thigh support adjustability feature and I think the curves might be slightly different....

Retail is $1599 per seat without hardware.

$1250 per seat is 21.8% off of retail.

I'll give motorsportseats.com a call.....

Spoke to JIm at Motorsportseats.com SEVERAL times. He did not seem too interested on getting the information I requested - i.e. price, availability, part numbers......

So I ordered my seats from synergmotors.net.

Two thumbs up to them as they answered every question I had an in great detail.

Two thumbs down to Jim @ motorsportseats.com.

Said he would call back and never did once.
