Hamann Mods

Finally, the Hamann mods to my '05 MCSC are complete. Check out the galley for the pics.

- Front Apron
- Pedal Set
- Custom Flag set
- HM4 wheels
- e-brake
- Shift ****

Check out the painted arches and painted side skirts. The next pics will show off the BF Goodrich KDW-2 wheels that went on after these pics. Those who have followed this cars journey will it was hit by a H1 a month prior to the pics and was pushed into a F150.

I'll post some more pics. Can someone help me out on how to insert the pics into the email.

I think your ebrake handle is on wrong. Shouldnt the leather come up to that ring area on the handle?

Very cool! Love those stripes. How do the pedals feel? Lots of extra grip?

As far as putting pictures in the message, click the yellow square with the mountains on it. The window that pops up is asking for the address of the picture. If you right click on your picture and hit properties you'll see the URL of the picture. Copy that and paste it into the box that opened up from the yellow square. Once you hit OK it should show up in the message.

The e-brake handle needs to be adjusted. The ring actually needs to come off. Haven't had the chance to change with the accident and car in the shop for 40 days.

Thanks your comment.

Pedals are awesome. Extra grip - no slipping whatsoever. The clutch and brake pedals feel precise.

Thanks for your tip on the pics. Hope the weather is nice this weekend so I can take some pics and do some motoring in MN!!

Was hit by an H1. I was at a complete stop and the H1 driver was not paying attention and hit the car in the rear. I was then pushed into a F150.
After $10m damage the car is finally on the road. BMW definitely did their homework and the car held up extremely well. Other than getting my bell rung very hard on the side window - I walked away from the accident. I have always looked to safety in a vehicle and have driven BMW's since 1984 and the Bmw/Mini enigineering saved me from a lot worse injuries.

I now can enjoy the car and the JCW kit that was installed 8 hours prior to the accident.

The color of the car is cool blue. Love it. Continually changing and was the reason I went with the dark carbon grey flag set.

I love those wheels and have been wanting a set for a long time. I've always like 5 spoke wheels and those are the only ones I have seen that have a clean look with a lip. That car deserves two thumbs up.

Hamann the damaged bank account

Bavarian Autosport sold all the Hamann stuff. They are the best game in town on service and price. Wheel power was significantly higher and didn't provide near the service.

The apron was $650, pedal set $130, dead pedal $200, and e-brake $180. I got the shift **** on ebay for $80 (Bav is $130). They had all their stuff on sale May/June - and the bank account took a little hit. I see they're back to regular price. Lots of fake stuff out there and Bav is an authorized dealer. The HM4's also were from Bav

The parts cost a lot more but the quality is outstanding. The side skirts were from the local mini dealer who was competitive.

I'm long 17" wheels and runflats. Would let them go for a good deal. The tires have 1200 miles on them and rims 200 miles. See the galley for pics on a black MCS. We can talk about this off line.

That's a hot looking Hamann Cooper! As a fellow Hamann afficianado, I *really* like your car. I have the Hamann splitter up front. Do you know if you can install the Hamann front apron and the splitter? Keep up the great work!

Opinion says that one can't do both especially if it's been lowered. I say it a different way - you can but watch out for the pot holes or any bumps, as you'll be too low.

Hamann makes pretty sweet stuff.

The front apron sells for $650 but got a 10% discount in June. I love the front especially with the different grill opening than the aero kit.
