I remember someone posted it awhile ago, can't remember who makes it though. IT's reflective basically like a mirror? I want them real bad. thanks in advance for the help.

 

These are chrome bonnet stripes that I got from NAM member/vendor dragonflyer, owner of AesthetiCreations.com. Shoot him a PM and ask about them.

Word of warning: they make washing the MINI very tricky, as they scratch easily and need to be wiped with diaper cotton ONLY. My hubby may tape off the bonnet and spray them with acrylic sealer, to make it easier to detail Wanda.

I'm doing these soon and also a checkerboard roof with same material. Keep your eyes open.

 

Cooper Flags makes reflective bonnet AND boot stripes.

 

The chrome stripes are Bcak as far as I know. I had to disconinue them for a while because I was not happy with the material. there is a new material out now that I can use. Has a 5 year durability.

They look good from afar, Mike. There are a few rock chips that went all the way through, though.

If I were going to do it now, I'd order dark silver bonnet stripes with chrome pinstripes on each edge, to make them more S-like. :smile:

There's a vinyl shop near me that i had "THE SHORT BUS" cut out for my back window. Maybe it would work on the paint? It's a chrome/mirror vinyl. Love the reflections.

ANDDDD it runs down far enough on my back window that the wiper back there rubs across it. Still looks very good. Long life expectancy.

As far as I know Cooper Flags doesnot make chrome bonnet stripes. Metallic yes but not chrome.

Police Depts use reflective material on the graphics on their vehicles. Find out what graphics ship they use. That's what I did and they were great and we were even able to creat a custom design for the side graphics. We discussed using the reflective material, but that will have to wait.
