Anyone w/ a set of these care to put in $.02?

Just FYI for those of you looking at the Std Euro lights (05+ at least), the STANDARD is a white bulb with yellow lens. The OPTIONAL lens (in Europe) is the white lens with yellow (or Silverstar/Diadem) bulb I learned this the hard way when I ordered the std spec clusters and got the yellow lens Using my crappy German I was able to convince the parts dept. to exchange them for these:

Drillslinger: That's the Nurburgring (N + GP) under your Cooper S logo, right? Have you driven a MINI on it? woohoo...

Dude, I drove THAT Mini on it Fortunately (for me) it was a rainy, crappy day, so I pretty much had the track to myself For the last 10+ years I've lived about 90 minutes South of the Ring so I've been there often. I only JUST got to drive it because my German insurance expressly listed the Ring as not covered

Do you still run the amber bulb? Or have you switched to white?

I'm going with these:

http://new.minimania.com/invdetail.c...terior%5fparts

but I'm buying them here :

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-03...QQcmdZViewItem

What do you think? I know some will suggest a black background but I'm thinking I already have chrome surround headlights, chrome door handles , chrome trunk lid handle, chrome emblems and soon chrome backed Hella FF200 driving lamps so these should tie in nicely!

I'm STILL waiting for someone to make tails like these for the '06. These, dispite appearances, do not have reverse lights in them, and I don't want to bother with the whole reverse-lamp on the lower bumper MOD on the '06 - I LIKE having my backup lights up high.

(Sigh...) maybe some day...

Until that day, I'll keep my tinted OEM tails...

ImagoX, those are the ones I want on my car too. If only the top light was a lens instead of a reflector (wastes my "brake light mod"), they'd be on my car already and the tinted 03 factory lights would be up for sale.

You got a lot of crap for those, Batgirl, as I recall, but I still say they look good...

...on YOUR car.

They're certainly not for every MINI, but then again neither is pink stripes. Kudos for you on doing something different AND stylish!
