M7 grille all the way baby!

It was my birthday few days ago and I got the upper & middle grille for myself ( I had the lower one for a while). I know they are not everyone's cup of tea but I think they look pretty cool on my car.

Unlike certain other M7 product, this one actually makes some measurable power gain. Substantially increased air flow to the radiator will blow any other grille on the market. I have the numbers to prove it but I am NOT going to post it

Thanks for the ice cream Randy

I like how you mounted the front license plate.

That looks awesome! Very good choice... I've seen those grilles in person and they are VERY nice.

Those do look very good. I didn't know they were available in black. I had only seen them in silver. Very nice.

I'm thinking about ordering a set of those. How hard was the install, the website says that they are very easy to install but I'd like to hear from someone who has actually installed them. About how long did it take you?

I will get a better picture tomorrow. As far as the installation goes, it is not easy but do-able. Stock top one comes off easy but it is a ***** to put he screws in place since they are very short. Middle one is very easy but you have to take the bumper cover off to put it in. No drilling though. There are plenty of info on how to take the OEM grill off if you do a search on grille on stock bumper threads. I think it is much nicer than the plastic Aero grille and I like the fact this one is edge-less.

Nice! Very sinister. I just ordered the lower grille and rear grilles for my DS. Hope it looks as good as yours does.

Are they the black grilles, similar to the ones in the picture?

Here's the photo from M7 website:

I like that grill bunches, but we need a better picture! I'm gonna go blackout on my mini, but would you say its worth the extra money over the factory Aero grills? Kinda steep, if you ask me, compared to those.

OK, I'm getting my axx kicked here for my picture! I just checked my digital camera and the setting was all messed up. Like I said, I will try to post better ones tomorrow. Yes, they are bit more than Aero grille but these are far more pimping, don't you think?

Here are a few pics of mine in black. The top two were the first prototypes so are a little wavey which the production units are not.

Thanks for noticing the careful placement of my front number plate. They are the latest high tech aftermarket part called "Front Plate Relocator 2000" Some people call it zip tie but I ignore them.

These pics are so much better.. Looks sweet too. Decided not to paint that framing behind the grill?

M7 has such style! I wish they would tackle the 2005 tail light.
