Question...

can you fit non-heated seats into a cooper with heated seats or somehow convert them so that they become heated seats?

I just had to replace both (pass and driv.) bottom cushions due to theft related damage. The cushions came from MINI with the seat cover, pad and heating element all under one part number, so I'm led to believe if you're going to order leather covers from MINI and you order them heated , you'll get the whole shebang. Not sure about the seat backs as I didn't have to replace them. It may be less expensive to have your heated leatherette seats upholstered in leather. Then you get to pick the leather and the colors!
