Received the attached in the mail. I wonder if anyone has heard of this, pro or con, or has tried one. It seems to be a low price for a radar detector but if it works that would be cool! It could also be a scam so I won't be buying if no one here has knowledge of it. Thanks

 

Its good, I have that one. I am lucky enough to not have to see if the scramble actually works, but it detects cops really well and is from a good company. My father in law has used them for years and for xmas bought me this one. Def. would recommend it!

RMR has a HORRIBLE track record - not only have thier 'scramblers' been proven not to do diddly-squat, thier detectors rank at the bottom of the list when compared to high quality models. They sell their products under several names.

It's been known for years that the company is a scam, the article referenced above says it all.

 

Thanks to all for the responses. The ad kind of set off my internal alarms and from the article I can see why. I reckon I'll go Valentine or Passport after some more research.
