Anybody know the legal tint limit in the state of Connecticut?

 

The best way to find out is to call a local installer. Chances are he'll know the Legal limit for sure.

 

Cali Legal limits are Any % in the rear and back side windows. 70% of light must be allowed through the front side windows and nothing on the front (besides a small strip on the top)

The front side window thing is superfulous though, as you could juct roll your side windows down if you got pulled over. Im more concerned about the no front plate ticket i could get.

may be a stupid question as most of mine are but how do you tint the side markers and tail lenses?

 

 

20% is "one past legal" in the state of WA...but I went with it anyway. It looks great. I'd never go darker...you're just asking for trouble and to go lighter defeats the purpose, IMHO.

 

Here is my orange tint. Wasn't legal from day one but got to run it for 3 years or so till it got hard to find someone to pass it at inspection time...

 

Looks good. Then again all Tar Heel Mini Motoring Club memebers have great looking minis.

20% all around, 5% on the sunroofs.
