Thanks again to everyone. Drkslvrmini - your 5% looks, well, sick.

I agree with fjo, I am a sissy when it comes to this stuff, so I will probably go with the 35%. Not that people with 35% are sissies...haha. Thanks, Jenn B for posting a pic of a cr car with 35%, that makes my decision much easier. Kumquat78 - I'm in union county and already have a guy lined up (same that did my clear bra) but thank you for the offer.

Well, let's keep the pics coming! I like hearing people's % combinations and the reasons they chose them.

Your attitude during a police stop has everything to do with how much they hassle you. They are simply trying to make sure that they are safe (nobody in the back seat pointing a gun at them).

If you get pulled over, immediately roll down every window you can and give the cop full visibility... it just puts them at ease and, maybe, in better mood...

I have a lot more at home if you want to see. I think it looks great... a lot of people think it's much darker than it is just because of how the car shows it.

Absolutely true. Every car I have tinted has technically been illegal. When I have gotten pulled over I rolled down the windows, all of them, and make sure my hands are clearly visible on the steering wheel. All but one of the cops had a loose demeneaor when they approached - - my guess is because they could see there was no real threat.

Also with 20% tint you can still see how many people are in the car except at dusk and dawn when the tint is most reflective.

It's great... I've never noticed any decrease in visibility with my tint.

I paid about 165.00 for all 5 windows.

$130 for everything. Sides, back, windsheild strip and sunroof. But then again it was quick and I was referred by a friend.

I don't notice a difference. Well no I take that back. It helps me sometimes in the rear when I get people riding my boot . Other then that no difference in my opinion.

can anyone post a picture of the back window tinted?
the edge has these small dots and seems like it'll be hard to tint it right.

20% all the way around... a little too dark for me. I think I'll appreciate it more in the summer.

Very nice pics and tint 2perCooper. Where were those pictures taken?
BTW: No tint on mine, I don't plan on tinting the windows.

does anyone know how to determine the statutes of allowable tint in any given state? I live in mass and i've heard stories of people being tested on the road by cops that have some kind of device that measures incoming light through the glass.
