The tint pics really help, I'm getting mine tinted Monday with 35% in the front, 5% in back and rear, but i think i will change that to 35% all around now. That looks quite sufficient to me. I just wanted something that not only looked nice but would help cut down on headlight glare in my mirrors at night, since that gives me a heck of a migraine. Amateur installed xenons
dot matrix concern
Why in some pics do you see a line around the dot matrix, whereas in others you do not? Angle of the shot? Time of the day changing amount of reflection? OR quality of tinting done?
Looking into doing it this summer...
Tints look great!!!

The dot matrix around the rear windows is still there, it is just a matter of the angle and the reflective light that makes it appear not to be there in certain shots, this is also true to the naked eye.
Mini Tint 50%
I just had 3M clear mask and 50% tint (all around) installed yesterday. Tint looks great. I have 35% on my previous car (Outback) and am very happy with the degree of tint on my Mini (50%). It seems to be about halfway between "stock" and "35%". I did not think that the darker 35% tint would look so good on such a small car.

I had a corrado before my MINI.
The Corrado's shifter is like a playstation joystick compared to the Mini. I didn't know this b4 driving a Mini.
Anyway, I love them both - they are just different cars.
I attached a better picture of him.
Cheers.
50% is standard in Ohio, but I was advised to go with 35%, instead. I just had it done...all 35%, except the windshield [although there is a sun strip at the top of the windshield---damn those small sunvisors]. With my sunroof decal, there wasn't any reason to go with any tint there. I was told that a 20% tint [or lower] would invite a stop by our illustrious "Bears"...unless I was a limo driver.
Here's mine. 20% front door windows... everthing else (including the sun roof) is limo tint. The picture looks darker because its a white car... it's not that dark in person.
Edit- Ooops - I'm bad... I already posted here.
