'05 "S" Auto Pedals on '05 "MC" CVT?

O.K., I know this is pretty premature, but I'm curious if the '05 Cooper S auto's alloy pedals might be retrofitted to an '05 MC CVT:

There seem to be limited aftermarket pedal options for the CVT and thought this might provide another alternative.

Nothing at all "wrong" with the stock pedals, I just happen to like the look of the alloys and haven't found many aftermarket options. And of the aftermarket pedals available most seem to require a good amount of modification in order to fit.

Being that these are OEM and MINI has possibly used the same pedal design as the CVT I thought perhaps these would be a relatively good solution.

I had these on my MC. Considering putting them up for sale.

Does anyone have an answer to this question, now that the 05's have been out for a while?

Thanks!

John

You can put alloy pedals from the manual MCS on a manual MC, so I don't see why it wouldn't work for the automatic models.

Upgrading to the OEM alloy accelerator pedal will be pricey as you have to buy the whole module and adaptor plate ... probably around $90
