hey nam,

i have a full aero kit waiting to be installed, any dos and dont on doing the swap? should i purchase replacement clips for the side skirts? if so which kind of clips do i neeed for the sides.are front and rear bumpers direct fit as in using the same screws, etc.

The clips are color coded ( 4 colors) so there a few which you could put in the wrong place.

When I did mine, I had all new clips ($$$$$) and when removing the original side skirts I took note of which color went where....

You can always return what clips you dont use....

 

i was told you can get the clips at the dealership. Is that true

 

The film will show the parts advisor how many are needed. It’s somewhat of a PITA and will take a while if also answering the phone and handling techs needs.

id call ahead of time, tell the MINI parts advisor what your doing and needing so they can get a jump on it.
