MY MCS came with the black plastic elliptical lower front grille (the one the covers the radiator). The MC comes with a metal grille that I think looks better. Does anyone know if the MC grille will fit the MCS? If so, how easy is it to replace? I would like to order an MC grille and install it on my MCS. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Take another look. They are very different in size and shape. But what do I know I'm an old man.

I agree, the metal one looks better. Until one of the aftermarket companies comes up with a replacement (HINT to any reading this), I think were stuck with plastic, unless you want to go pick up some chicken wire or something to fashion into your own custom metal grill.

I won the complete set of grills in the November giveaway, although I haven't had time to install them yet, they do look good. They came well packaged with installation instructions. I think the instructions were posted in one of the forums.

I called about this grille. It looks great, but mounts in front of the stock grille and needs to be tie-wrapped to be attached. It is not a drop-in replacement. This may work for some, but I want a metal grille that will replace my black plastic one. Aftermarket companies, get cracking!

2minis, The chicken wire idea would be about as good as the ones you linked above. And why would abyone want an intercooler grill? Grill = obstruction = reduced air flow = hotter intercooler = less power.

A better idea... I just bought some alluminium net sheet from an accessory shop and installed it instead of the front and the back ellipticals... they look fab! giving the my baby a more aggresive look!

WOW! Good job on searching the threads! This one was dusty.

On an MCS the bumper cover needs to be removed to get the lower grill out.
Not real hard, couple of bolts on top and a few screws under, unplug lights, walla!
