who makes a challenge splitter for a 2013 r56 jcw?

ets racing uk has one but not for the latter lci update which im pretty sure my 2013 is

 

We use to have the factory ones but they went NLA 51638308873 and 51638308874 , no one can get them anymore unless used. We are in the works with an aftermarket version hopefully soon. Will update this thread when we get them. We had some fit the aero I and aero II, but the LCI bumper you might have to modify the tabs.

IMO what makes the Challenge Splitter so much nicer than any aftermarket splitter, is that its shape and attachment are integrated into the existing design. It is not an added on part.
It would also be cool if we had available a set of larger fender flares that use the factory attachment points, and look OEM. The JCW stylists had the look right....it just needs a little more aggressiveness.

 

I too would be interested. Hey ECS sounds like you got a group buy on your hands. Easily 25 people alll in all in this community i could see interested.

Do you have a link? What's the cost and how is the quality? Interested for sure...

 

Quality is good, I’ll have to try fitting it to say for sure but the finish is nice.

Please post the details. My Cooper has been naked since losing it's Challenge splitter!

 

Fitment is good, some trimming of the bumper cover is required for fitting.

 

I'd say it looks pretty good. Not sure I like the carbon fiber, but I love the challenge splitter regardless.

Just as a thought, I've had clear mask paint protection on my car since I bought it 10 years ago. The front of the car still looks like new. You can buy clear mask in uncut rolls of different sizes. Being that it's carbon fiber with a smooth finish it would stick right to it and last for years, at least three depending on the quality of the material used. It would most certainly save it from getting chipped from little rocks and things being it's so close to the road.
I've got a JCW carbon hood scoop that took a rock. Even though there is clear mask it happened to tag it where there isn't any and left an obvious mark in the lacquer. Just a thought for you.

It has that film on the first half of the hood. Thinking I might have the cover resprayed + film for cover and lip.

ETS Racing makes the fiberglass two piece replicas over there last I checked. The website doesn't look like much but find him on Instagram or shoot him an email.
