Interior/Exterior New Lower Grill for MCS
New Lower Grill for MCS
Hi all and sorry for the delay in posting this Mike. I am here to present the very first in a new line of lower grills for the MCS from RaceMesh.
This unit is made out of 316 Stainless Steel so it can hold up to the elements perfectly fine. Rather than being stamped out of one piece of metal or welded which leaves ugly weld marks, this unit is made out of intricately woven wire mesh. If you have the aero grills on your MCS bumper, you may not want to go with the Stainless Steel as it will clash with the black from the other grills, so this unit is also available powder coated black.
Installation takes 5-10 minutes and it is a DIY job, even for those of you who have never done an oil change or pulled off a tire. Rather than replacing the lower OEM grill, this unit simply ties onto it making installation a snap. This is a huge difference compared to other grills that require you to completely take off the front bumper, pry off the old unit, mount the new unit, and put the bumper back on the car.
Now Im sure you want to see some pics of this thing.... keep in mind that this is a prototype unit so it is Stainless Steel. It doesnt look as good on my car as it would on others without the aero grills because it is silver whereas the rest of the front of my car is black. Anywho, nuff chit chat, heres the goods:

If you have any questions or would like to order a RaceMesh Grill for your MCS, send your inquiries to mr.mpl@sbcglobal.net or call (925)628-7502 and ask for Mike.

Will there be a direct replacement version available soon? I (insert disclaimer about personal opinions here) am just not real keen on covering stuff up when it can be replaced by something better.
Hey guys, I dont have all the info as I am not really affiliated with RaceMesh, but I am guessing it would be somewhere in the $150 area. You would have to contact Mike at the number or email address provided above for detailed information on price.
