First, I'd like to say thank you very much for your service and welcome back.

Second, that is one HOT MINI man. I'm not one for bodykits and big rims, but your car is very tastefully done. I think part of the reason I like it so much is that you haven't put any obnoxious stickers on it.

Nocivic,

One of the sharpest silver MCS cars I've seen. Great Job so far! Enjoy your mods, and thank you for serving our country.

SWEET Looking MINI. I really like the brake duct vents in the air dam. ...Had only heard about those. The paint looks absolutely wonderful. Best Ociari application I've seen yet. Not certain why it seems so different to me, but hey if it looks good why ask why!

I'll echo other's sentiments - Thank you for your service. Are you back for good or is there a re-deployment in your future? Regardless of which it is, I hope you get to spend some well deserved quality time with your family and your MINI.

Thank you all again for everything. Just to get to some of the questions from some NAM members.

I'm currently a first class Petty Officer in the US Navy, stationed on the USS Wasp LHD1 out of Norfolk, VA.

I'm very happy to say that I've made my last deployment  I'll be moving to Mayport Florida in Jan 05. So for now I'm spending all my time with family, and by the way my son is all about the MCS:smile:

Hi Nocivic!

Your mini looks awesome! Must have been tough to be away for so long.
Also, I noticed you mentioned that you are stationed on the Wasp! I used to work as the USO in Haifa, Israel for 5 years, and remember the Wasp "visiting" us sevaral times. I think its a helicopter carrier? Hmmm, not sure . Anyways, just wanted to say "hi!".

Noa

Congrats on getting the Orciari kit finished, looks great!!!

Have 1 year left here in "Sunny Sigonella, Sicily" before I retire, looking forward to getting back to the States and being able to mod at will.

Noticed that you left out the fog lamps on the front, any particular reason?

Of course at this point I have to show mine...

Cheers!

TULS - In response to having the crossmember painted black, I had asked for that to be done, but it got lost in translation (American to Sicilian) . May have it done when I get back to the States, but it does not really bother me too much at this time, think it still looks good.

Rioman - Another great looking car, stripes really set it off!!

Cheers!

RIOMAN- Your MINI is very hot, I think the blue stripes set it off very well. I would like to see more pictures.

OVRKLL- How is SIG? and what is your rate I'm an ABH. As for the fog lights I was told that I would use the stock lights to fill all the holes, now I know that I have to get the MINI fog lights so I'll be getting them just as soon as I can. I'm in the works of building a fiberglass speaker enclosure now...Keep up the nice job on the car looks really good.

TULS- Not really sure what you're talking about, but if your refering to the brace cover behind the grill. I think it looks nice the color of the car, but thats just me. I really haven't seen one black, and the kit was painted back in July while I was out to see. So I'll have to look around and find one thats back you never know I could change my mind, and thank you for the input.

I am an AT1, working in Air Cargo (completely out of rate along with several ABH's). Sigonella is a nice place to retire out of,,, definitely not a place to advance at.
Working with the local nationals is interesting, always take their time to do EVERYTHING, except when they get behind the wheel, then it is ***** to the wall. Normal speed around here to keep from getting run over is 60-70mph on the small roads and 70-110mph on the Autostrade

Cheers!

OVRKLL,

I feel you with the Nationals, I was stationed in Cuba for 3 years back in the early 90's, and I to worked the AIR Cargo side of the house. So how are the AB's treating you ? Good I hope .

Well as the MCS goes I started on the layout of my fiberglass speaker enclosure today. I should be starting on it sometime next week and I'll be picking up all my equipment on Monday. I was very lucky to meet some people last year at a show and I received full sponsor form "ORION CAR AUDIO". Everything was for my 99 Civic, but I sold the civic to get the MCS, and they were cool enough to go ahead and do the MINI. As I get thing done I'll be posting the build...
