Not really a wrap, but large graphics. I didn't have time to get the vinyl printed so I cut and installed each color in layers, except for the desktop calendar number plates. Those were printed on cheap printable craft vinyl from an art supply store and cut with scissors.
Trivia question: Who recognizes the number plates and their design?
Haste makes waste... I have a few bubbles, but I was is last minute install and did it in light wind out on a driveway. Not having a second set of hands for the large pieces and running out of app fluid didn't help either. I'll eventually redo it under better conditions.
There are a few options you could look into, a printed flag on perforated vinyl for the sunroof section only, a full perforated roof panel, or solid vinyl prints, either full, or mixed with perf on the glass. It depends on the look you prefer.
Perforated vinyl will still allow reduced light and heat to come in and not have your car feel closed in like a painted sunroof. Since the Royal Grey is also dark, you can try perforated over the entire roof if you want edge to edge graphics. It might be close enough to the pano roof to make the graphic more uniform. Check with a wrap shop to see if they have some scrap printed perf you can stick over both surfaces to see how it looks.
Using solid on the paint and perf on the glass will have an obvious transition, and probably take away from the effect you're looking for. If you've ever seen a wrapped bus with the graphics over the body and windows you'll know what I mean.
I have a dull black checker wrap over my black sunroof Clubman . See photos. I had the company come to my house and install it in my garage. This was 4 years ago and it is still in good shape. It was a 3M product.

I dig it! Looks way better than the official Red Bull MINI.
Thanks, I always liked their race livery and used that as an inspiration. The only thing I liked about the promo cars were the hot girls giving out the free samples.
