Show me your stock MCS with front Euro Plate

Hi guys.

I have a stock MCS with the standard bumpers. I have never bothered to put on a front plate. I have a friend who is over in England right now, and he is going to bring back a Euro plate for me.

So I was just wondering if a few people who have a U.S. MCS with the stock bumpers (not Aero Kit or any other modified bumper) could post some pics of their cars with the Euro plate on it.

Thanks!

NY requires a front plate, so I stuck it in the air dam. Only half the plate covers the actual air inlet

Here are pics of my new euro plates. I ordered them and the frame from Mattman Enterprises (http://www.mattman-enterprises.com/home.html). I installed them with zip ties so they can be removed later.

I got the idea for the first one from the Steve Wariner/Garth Brooks duet "Katie Wants A Fast One" (KTs Fast 1). The second one was my husband's pick and we can switch them around if we want.

I wonder if my state will allow me to put a Euro style plate on if it has the letters and number of the normal plate.

I thought the same thing....and my conclusion is that it all depends on the cop and the kind of day he is having. I'm sure that if you got a nice cop that wasn't too angry, you could explain it to him and he would let you get away with it. If its a cop really looking to snag you, he still would.

I've run without a plate for over a year (knock on wood) without any problems...so i doubt the euro plate would be different.

Well I am trying to do my car the legal way So maybe I'll stick with the normal horrible plate on my front bumper. Although it looks like crap on my Aero bumper.

I had the holes in the bumper from the regular plate and just filled them the Euro plate.

None in West Virginia, either - although I don't expect to see a huge migration of MINIs and their owners to the Mountain State.
