does anyone know if the blinkers on the front and rear fenders (red and orange) are interchangeable? just wondering because i just installed the BMW accessory red/clear tailights and really like the way the red/clear looks on my BRG/B MCS. thought that if the lenses on the fenders were all red instead of 2 being orange it'd look more uniform.

 

I have taken out mine to have them tinted, I beleive if you took the front driver corner light, that it would fit on the passenger rear light, and vice versa.

I did not try this, but the shape should be the same.

Even if they are interchangable, to change them would probably not be legal under current DOT regs. DOT requires orange/amber parking lights to indicate the front of the vehicle, while red parking lights indicate the rear of the car.


Might look good though, and certainly different.

we have smoked out tails, 3rd brake, and fender markers... no copy has said a word.

 

I'm with you no affiliation, I'm eventually going to get the european fenders that don't even have the cut out for the lights for that smooth look. The police around here are pretty cool for the most part, they take a look at my car and ask me questions about how much it costs and where to get one rather than harass me about modifications.
