My new spoiler

Well i was actually having second thoughts on it when i purchased it that it'd look really ricey, but after the install it didn't turn out that way.. here it is, my all new orciari rear spoiler

Beefs? Loves, any comment is welcome./.. i gotta take a full vehicle shot probably later tonight... i like it cuze it's nice and subtle... any other rear spoiler for the mini'd be too over-the-top... i certainly don't think it's rice that i spent about 200 bucks on.. sure that any non-oe spoilers can be said to be rice but i guess everyone's got different tolerance on this stuff

The racetrack shots look good. It isn't outlandish, but still distinctive from stock. My only complaint is the fact that it's made up of 3 parts. It looks weird to me to see the panel gaps in the spoiler. I think it should be possible to build a single-piece spoiler that mounts to the hatch and wraps around to the sides. Maybe not - the big wings they put on Integras are 3 pieces, too. Or maybe the clearance wouldn't work out when you opened the hatch.

Anyway - they do look nice when seen in context with the whole car. (Can't say the same for the rest of the Orciari kit, but that's personal preference)

the problem w/ making it one piece is that the gap just moves...it will now be under the ends of the wing where it overlaps the roof...with this design your really stuck with gaps under the ends or 3 piece. I actually like the gap in person - adds some nice lines to the car. As for the bodykit as whole...like all bodykits - it really comes down to personal taste.

It's a bit heftier wing but OK esp for a track car.

It might be a bit much for a normal stock car with no other aero kit mods.
The stock aero spoiler is a better fit for a stock type car unless you want to go more aggressive. It's for appearance more than anything

here's a quick shot i just did

Here's another one, from the side

so, i think it's still a nice subtle upgrade, these are simply saying that the spoiler still looks fine without any other aero mods, and since im not planning anymore aero mods i still think it looks dandy...

what do you guys think?

Looks very clean and blends well with the lines of the car.

Has the new spoiler created more noticable drag? Can you feel increased downforce in the rear?

downforce and drag is unnoticeable.. in a front driver like the mini i dont expect downforce to aid in anything... drag has not been noticeable.. but since just got the pulley for a couple of weeks im still shcok at the power im getting so even if there's drag it's unnoticeable

thanks for the positive feedback!
