Interior/Exterior Cravenspeed nGauge Install
#27
The Bleed through on the needle is just a paint issue. We are testing all the needles to make sure that they have full coverage in the future and would be happy to replace any that are still having issues with that.

Really? That's above and beyond Kellen. It had occurred to me I might take the gauge apart and spot paint, but I wouldn't have expected you to replace for that reason. Bravo!

Excellent! I hope we can provide you with the nGauge in oil PSI. There are certainly some hurdles to making it happen, but they are smaller than the original project.

Final Review -
The small issue I mentioned has been fixed, and since Craven sent out an e-mail to those on the e-mail interest list I figure they don't mind me mentioning. They sent out a new boost gauge to everyone who bought one because a couple people reported higher than expected boost. I don't know if they needed to do that, but I can now report that my boost gauge reports exactly the expected boost reading under all circumstances so far.
This is a high quality product. The parts that can be metal are metal, the parts that had to be plastic look and feel as close to metal as can be expected. In my opinion it's a little higher quality than the OEM odometer, but is not curvy. I drove a coworker to lunch yesterday and he was fooled that it was OEM and didn't believe me at first when I told him it was aftermarket.
The color is almost spot on and closer to OEM than any other gauge. Perhaps my odometer is a bit faded as I park outside, but you can check out the color in the attached photos taken with my DSLR.
The only complaint I have is that there is a little bleed through on the central aspect of the needle indicator hub during nighttime driving. Craven already sent an e-mail to buyers that if they experience this issue, send it back for a replacement. I know Adam is going to e-mail me after reading this to offer me a replacement, but I'm fine with it.
Buy with confidence if you want a hot looking boost gauge and don't want to open the bonnet.

Yes it does. Boost, Water Temp, Air Fuel Ratio and Voltage available in classic analog output.

I will check out our options for chrome. Like cactusjk said, we passed initially because we were not hot on the idea of a spray chrome on plastic. I suppose it's not like the chrome line interior is actually polished chrome either, maybe they could match nicely.

I guess I can chime in now. I've had my nGauge's (boost and temp) for a few weeks now and I really love them. Everything went as promised. Ok, the install did take a little longer than 20 minutes but I blame that on the fact that it was 20 degrees in my garage! And Kellen lived up to his reputation here by providing exemplary customer support. I can't wait for the Oil Pressure gauge to be ready.
Thanks Kellen!

Does this really work? I am interested if so.
