Has anyone done this? Does anyone have an extra toggle or any vendor's selling these?

Search on "garage door toggle" here and at mini2.com and you should find some discussion of this.

I found this pretty quickly -- there may be more.

Here's what I did: Extra switch
But someone else did a much better job than I did with a better matching switch. I just can't find the link.

I hope someone posts it because the switch looks really nice.

I did this mod- but decided to use something a little more "fun" than a factory switch.

Here's a pic of the finished product:

I have a how-to / write up on the install on my site

MINI Mechanic.com

Goodluck!

How about this one with the house icon and the toggle switch that's identical to the rest of the penal switches.

I have a few toggles that I can ship for $5.

Also, checkout the MINI circuit which can integrate your garage door opener to the existing toggles (and give other features).
