The wife's MINI valve cover was weeping a little (especially at autox) so we had to pull the cover and reseal it. We decided since we had to pull it and clean it anyway we might as well have some fun. Remember it's the wife's car. LOL
Before (need to get a new engine shot it's changed allot since then)
I am not into the Hello Kitty thing but, I love the fact that you painted it. You are the second one that I have seen. Hopefully it starts catching on.
Pretty funny!!
You might be able to sell those....I see folks lining up and asking for custom ones!!
LOL I'm not even sure how the paint will hold up. The plastic is an unusual thing for me. I did two types of paint so we'll see if either or both can handle the heat etc and won't peel off the plastic.
LOL, my wife isn't a "girly girl" so she wants NO!! (her emphasis not mine) pink showing on the car. We did the valve cover for the laughs especially at autox events when the hood is open practically all day.

Did you use high temp paint? If not, it will last for about no time.
I don't think the valve cover need's high temp but we'll see. The plastic is an insulator. I used fusion for the pink. We'll see I guess. No big deal, wasn't that hard to do.
Finally got the RIGHT gasket this week and put it back together. This has about 45 miles on it so far. There is a shadow from the hood but you get the idea.
