Any Pepper White MINI owners out there who put a clear bra on their MINI?
Are you happy, how is it holding up, and how long has it been on the car?
Would you do it again?
Any pictures?

Thanks,
Shelly

I had mine installed right after delivery. In normal lighting you can barely see it. I highly recomend Clear Armor. Here is a link to another thread. NORCALMINIS members get a discount. They came to my house and did the install. I see you are in San Diego, it might be worth a road trip. I'd snap a picture but the car needs a bath. Good luck.

Hello. Noticed your post. I am the Clear bra sponsor for the mini site. I sell 2 different brands, xpel and invinca-shield.
The brand that I highly recommend however is the xpel. Comes with a 5 year warranty and a 1k paint protection. The bra is barely noticable even on the white cars.
The only thing I recommend is to clean the bra at least once a month by wipping it down with a cloth and putting a polish wax over it.

If you need more information go to my web site. http://www.autoclearguard.com

There are many pictures and a mini section for parts.

Thanks
Ryan

Although my car isn't PW, my mirror caps are white with X-pel on them for about 3 months now. Upon close examination, the area with X-pel shows some discoloration. I'm thinking of removing the films from the mirror caps.

dave- did you put wax on the clearbra? The film seems to need
extra UV protection with the wax. I use polymer on mine...seems
to do better than natural wax.

There is a big difference between white and pepper white. Pepper white is more of a bone color. I've had the bra on 6 months and color change. The manufacturer guarantees it will not change color.

Whenever I use Zaino, I usually apply it over the X-pel. The portion over IB is totally fine. Only the area over the white mirror caps is slightly yellowish close up.

Dave- hummmm.... time to make a complaint to Xpel. It's not suppose
to discolor like that.

The stripes are over the X-pel. I figured it's a lot easier and cheaper to replace the stripes than the X-pel.

I have Xpel over the hood and front bumper of my Pepper since day one-Last November. No discoloring or issues. In fact I have Xpel on all my cars and have for years.
