Clearing adaptations?

I'm looking for a scan tool to clear adaptations/hard-codes.

And not the Bavarian Technic. I tried such and it was delivered to me defective. Not happy with that company what so ever!!!

I use AutoEnginuity software. Runs on a PC. You buy their Proline connector and MINI specific software extensions.

It is real, licensed and supported software. Not bootleg.

It does everything you may want except coding of modules...

I see. Thank you.

Looks like I need this hardware for $250
https://www.autoenginuity.com/order-...scantool2.html

And also the BMW/MINI software for $230
https://www.autoenginuity.com/order-...e-options.html

That's a bit more than the Bavarian Craptec option. But hopefully they dont ship useless bricks to people.

I choked on the price a bit at first, but decided I wanted to support a real company, not a hacker selling bootleg !$?& with dubious intentions and clear security issues. But that's me...

I was happy to find a product from a company that answers their email and phone.
The company HQ is in Arizona. Something I am willing to pay for. I'll get off my soapbox now. Guess I have too many friends struggling to sell software and music in a world that expects free content and free apps.

Fwiw, their MINI specific package includes MINI and BMW (I also drive a BMW).

Is the Bavarian Technic bootlegged?!

I was shocked when I emailed support and they replied that they had no solution; I tried it on 3 laptops and none worked. And I'm not the first person with "Communication Error" issues (youtube turns up others). But that I could mail it back to them and they could tinker with it to see what is wrong. I'm not their f*&&^king beta testing dept!!

I don't know anything about them. I was referring to the endless variants of PA Soft "BMW scanner" and DIS/INPA for sale for next to nothing. Some even dropped shipped from other continents....
