I want to MMM carbon fiber wrap, how to R&R the gutters and antenna?

Like the title says, in the spring, I would like to do the 3M 1080 Carbon wrap on my roof and other pieces. I would like to do it right by removing (and re-installing when done ) the gutters and the roof antenna.

I tried searching, but all I am finding is wrap info, nothing on the gutter removal, or the antenna.

I dont want to pay my local place $300 to do it and would love the learning experience.

Can anyone help me out? I have no sunroof so it should be easier, I imagine.

I can't help you with the gutters but a search should provide info on removing the antenna base. I've removed mine a couple of times and it's a little tricky. You need to pull down the headliner back at the center of the hatch and disconnect several wires and remove one nut that holds the antenna base down. I removed both the C pillars first to avoid creasing the headliner when I pulled it down. The C pillars are held on by one torx screw and 2 plastic clips. A search may provide pics and more info. Good luck.

I was looking for that too a while ago and there is zero info that ive been able to find. CF roof would be pretty sweet looking. Especially if you did it right by removing the components.

Late to this thread...do you still need help with the r&r of the gutters? If so, I've had mine off a number of times. I'm happy to post pics or shoot a short video if you'd like. The rear gutter below the spoiler isn't removable (as far as I could tell).

Yes! Thank you. I'd love to replace mine before the winter rains arrive.. opps, too late. Sun damage has cracked them and the curved part over the passenger door has broken and fallen off.
